The City of Sioux City's Economic Development Department has been selected as the recipient of two awards by the Mid-America Economic Development Council (MAEDC).  The 2009 Annual Economic Development Awards, or "Best of the Midwest".presented Sioux City's "Home Again" campaign with first place in the Workforce Development category and the City's "Business for Breakfast" event received second place in the Special Events category.
