Marty Dougherty - 712-279-6345
As Economic Development Director, Marty manages Sioux City's economic development team. He seeks to create and build relationships with new and existing businesses, and along with our economic development partners to improve the community's business environment. He works closely with the City Manager and City Council to successfully implement the City's overall marketing and business development strategy.

Chris Myres - 712-224-5502
As an Economic Development Specialist, Chris prepares comprehensive business assistance packages for new and existing companies, including local and state incentives, loan programs, and development agreements. He works closely with companies and is the primary contact for many State of Iowa programs including the Enterprise Zone program and the ground breaking Targeted Jobs Program.

Anne Westra - 712-224-5151
As an Economic Development Specialist, Anne manages the marketing efforts of the department by overseeing the graphic design of promotional materials and signage, the direct e-mail campaign, the Economic Development web site, working with the media and organizing special events. She coordinates several interactive business programs, including "Business for Breakfast", "Growing Sioux City" and the City's Progress newsletter. Anne is also active in company site visits and manages the City's overall marketing campaign.

As an Economic Development Specialist, Sam is active with the City's business retention and attraction program. He is responsible for working with Sioux City employers as they consider new investment in the community as well as potential new businesses looking to relocate to the area.

As an Administrative Secretary, Renae manages the daily operations of the department. She provides administrative support to the economic development team including coordinating schedules, Council agenda items and assistance with special events.
